KP 110.3 weir
This project, located 110.3 km from the mouth of the Rupert River, is designed to maintain the water level over almost half the entire river, limiting the environmental impact of the Eastmain-1-A/Sarcelle/Rupert development.
Construction of the weir required 9 000 m3 of concrete, of which 7 500 m3 were poured under water using anti-leaching concrete specially designed for the needs of the project. The concrete manufactured by our mobile plant had to be heated during winter and cooled with ice to 12°C in the summer.
